I listened to this album, released by ECM, and was blown away. Tenor John Potter of the Hilliard Ensemble with Ambrose Field, a composer of electronic music. I invited them to Dancity 2010 for a special concert at the San Domenico Auditorium in Foligno, a deconsecrated church dating back to the 1300s.

An example of fusion of classical and electronic music, introducing for the first time the Moog synthesizer in Europe. Listening this album is a fantastic journey between Western music and Indonesian influences. I recommend the track “Ketjak”!

Rediscovery of the day: "Never Stop" by Chilly Gonzales. Minimalism, hypnotic groove, a simple idea carried through to the end: keep going. A track that flows unhurriedly but never stops. Still relevant, still necessary.

After a long-standing interest in the haunting music of Nathan Dawidowicz, Hell Yeah! signs FLUFF, the producer's second album. The record features three long, winding, mystical leftfield/downtempo soundscapes that blend trance and experimentation into ritualistic and spiritual escapes.

A gem released 30 years ago that has gone under the radar, at least compared to its merits and (enormous!) quality: the trait d'union between (acid) jazz, drum'n'bass, intelligent techno and Balearic ambient. With beautiful lyrics to boot, between the politically impepgned emceeing of Navigator and the urban poetry of tracks like "Place In The City"
